B-donor aims to support meeting the world demands of blood donations with complete privacy protection of donor’s and recipient’s information.

B-Donor mobile application gather all blood donations requests with locations provided initially by app, updated by requesters “if it’s necessary”. On the other side, the donors’ information that’s submitted by them, is stored securely to be used only by the app to send them notification based on the nearest location and suitable match of blood type.

Both donors and requesters can change their information easily and securely as well.

What information does B-DONOR Application obtain and how is it used?

From Requesters \“blood recipients”:

-First name (Username) to be viewed by other users

-Mobile number “to arrange with the donor”

-Email “for sending the notifications and updates”

-Location collected initially by the app (current location )

Note: Locations could be updated any time with the requester’s new location “IMIEI stored for any required investigation in case of app misuse”

From Donors:

-First name (Username)

-Mobile number “ for connecting with potential matches”

-Email “for sending the notifications”

-Location collected initially by the app (current location )

Note: Locations will not be shared or viewed in the app by others. It’s there only to detect the nearest request for the donor. It could also be updated any time with donor new location “IMIEI stored for any required investigation in case of app misuse”

User Provided Information

The Application obtains only the information you provide when you download and register on the Application.

Registration with us is mandatory in order to be able to use the basic features of the Application.

When you register with us and use the Application, you generally provide

(a) Your name, email address, age, user name, password.

(b) Your initial location “home or work address”, to respond to the nearby requests.{" "}

Note: The donor’s information will not be shared to any user under any circumstances. - Only the recipient’s information are shown to donors within their radius “50 km square” In case of insufficient available donors in a recipient’s radius, the radius will be expanded

No third parties have access to information

We never disclose User provided and Automatically Collected Information unless:

• It’s required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process.

• The disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

Data Retention Policy “Managing Your Information”

We will retain User provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter.

We will retain automatically collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate.

Please note that some or all of the User provided data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.

Security

We ensure that security procedures are reasonable, and should provide an overview of our security procedures below.

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of our users’ confidentiality.

We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain.

For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application.

Please be aware that B-donor goes to great lengths to protect the users’ data, and keeping it secure, however no security system can indefinitely prevent all potential security breaches.

Does the application collect precies real time location information of the device ?

No, B-Donor doesn't track real-time location. It only uses geolocation only at registeration, after that users update them manually whenever they feel the need to.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here and informing you via email or text message.
